Get to Know the Clerk's office

Each court has a Clerk's office where papers are filed, records are kept, and information is available. This is usually the place to start when you have questions. The staff of the Clerk of Courts Office (or Prothonotary) can be very helpful in explaining procedures, getting forms, and guiding you to the right answer.
